Wolves fans know the club have a potential superstar in Tommy Doyle – and the midfielder did something in training earlier this week that absolutely oozed class.
Doyle is now one year into his Wolves journey, after signing for the club from Manchester City.
He spent last season at Molineux on loan, and earlier this summer Wolves moved to exercise their buy option, reported to be around just under £5 million.
It was never really in doubt that the club would sign him permanently.
Last term, while Mario Lemina and Joao Gomes were the go-to pairing for Gary O’Neil, Doyle produced a string of brilliant displays when called upon.
The Englishman was often used in games where O’Neil felt Wolves could have a bit more of the ball.
He showed himself to be a top technician, and that technical ability was on show this week in training as Doyle wowed his teammates.
Tommy Doyle shows class with ‘outrageous’ goal in Wolves training

Wolves fans have been loving what they’ve been seeing so far in pre-season.
The player have been totally dialled in, and O’Neil has overseen three victories so far, against Como 1907, Bristol City and West Ham United.
The intensity has been there from the off, and fans are starting to feel very optimistic about the coming season.
Doyle has apparently been catching the eye quite a bit over the last few weeks. Assistant manager Tim Jenkins was speaking about him last week, saying what an example he has been for the young players who are on the tour.
Journalist Liam Keen noted last week that Doyle’s passing in one session had been superb.
And now, Wolves have uploaded a clip of Doyle scoring an ‘outrageous’ goal in a training session earlier this week, which can be viewed over on Instagram.
Doyle exchanges passes with a coach, before nonchalantly stabbing the ball into the top corner with a Trivela.
It was very reminiscent of a couple of goals that Luka Modric has scored for Real Madrid in past training sessions which went viral on social media.
Doyle is technically gifted
It is a beautiful goal from Doyle, who really is now one of the most technically gifted players at the club.
With Lemina and Gomes being top ball-winners who provide a lot of energy and physicality, it is really good for Wolves to have someone like Doyle in the squad.
He just brings completely different attributes to his fellow midfielders.
He picks passes better than anyone else, and is essentially the replacement for Ruben Neves given he likes to operate as a deep-lying playmaker.
But we all know that Doyle does also have things to offer further forward. Who can forget his stunning hit against Brentford in the FA Cup last season.
