Vitor Pereira believes he has a player who can help Wolves ‘a lot’, after navigating a tricky situation last season.
Wolves have made a poor start to the new season, losing all three games in the Premier League so far.
Fans didn’t expect too much this season and so far it’s been a struggle, so Vitor Pereira has a lot to think about right now.
The way Wolves ended the transfer window wasn’t ideal either, with only Tolu Arokodare coming in, which had been on the cards for days.
A new midfielder was the desire for many fans. But Jeff Shi said he and Pereira decided against signing a new midfielder, not wanting to sign someone just for the sake of it.
Wolves’ transfer business has come under fire, with plenty stating that the new faces are all gambles.
But Pereira believes one of his new faces can really help the team.
Vitor Pereira drops glowing Ladislav Krejci verdict

Ladislav Krejci was Wolves’ penultimate signing of the summer window.
Wolves paid a £6 million fee to sign Krejci on loan from Girona, and the club are set to pay a further £20 million to sign him permanently next summer.
Krejci is a player whose importance has already increased at Wolves despite not even playing yet.
As a result of Wolves not signing a midfielder, there is now a greater chance we could see him get some minutes in midfield.
Pereira has spoken of the Czech star, and it sounds like the manager is ready to lean on him a fair bit.
He said (as quoted by E&S): “Krejci is a technical player with a very good decision with the ball to build the play
“I remember the last season when Toti got an injury and it was a nightmare for me because on the left side without a left foot is a problem.
“This is a player with leadership, with experience and he can help us. In my opinion he can help us a lot.”

Pereira sounds like he’ll make Krejci a regular starter
This verdict from Pereira points to him starting Krejci very soon for Wolves.
We know the manager wants Wolves to build well from the back and Krejci’s ball-playing ability is going to help with that.
He also talks about his leadership and experience, things that Pereira is big on, and it already feels like a player who’s likely to come into the side.

He is costing a lot of money, and there have been some questioning whether Krejci was actually really needed and arguing the cash could have been saved for a new midfielder.
Now that Krejci is here though, hopefully he can quickly show fans he is worth the outlay.
