Vitor Pereira tells Jackson Tchatchoua why he’s perfect for Wolves in the Premier League

After the official announcement of Jackson Tchatchoua as a Wolves player, we got a glimpse into his first day at Molineux and his introduction to Vitor Pereira.

Jackson Tchatchoua has arrived, and Wolves fans are excited to have a new face at the club.

On Tuesday, the 23-year-old arrived at Molineux to get settled in and go through all the obligations that come with joining a Premier League club.

Cameras followed him around for Wolves’ YouTube channel, capturing the first interaction between him and his new manager.

Vitor Pereira says Jackson Tchatchoua will be well-suited to Premier League physicality

Meeting for the first time, Tchatchoua and Pereira had a brief exchange, but the Portuguese boss was quick to compliment his new player.

After Tchatchoua expressed his excitement at the new challenge, Pereira had this to say: “It’s the best league in the world. This is for tough people. What I saw from you, you are tough.”

High praise from the Wolves boss for a player he must be relieved to have coming through the door.

Tchatchoua may not have been first choice for Wolves this summer, but now that he has arrived, all the noise around the right-back position can finally die down.

Jackson Tchatchoua knows Emmanuel Agbadou from his time in Belgium

Another interesting tidbit from Tchatchoua’s first day video is that he knows centre-back Emmanuel Agbadou, having played against each other in the Belgian Pro League.

Agbadou is struggling at Wolves at present, looking a shadow of the player he was when he arrived in January.

But he has shown world-class quality when he’s been on it, so the hope is that he can get back to his best, and who knows, an old friend arriving at the club could help with that.

Tchatchoua appears to be settled in now. With plenty of time to train with his new teammates, we may even see him at the weekend against Bournemouth, where he can prove Pereira’s comments right.
