Wolves find themselves in a good position during the final international break of the season.
The club beat Southampton 2-1 in their latest Premier League game, in what was a huge result.
Wolves went nine points clear of the relegation zone with the win, with Leicester City and Ipswich Town both losing.
Ian Wright believes Wolves are fortunate that the bottom three are so poor, and certainly, Wolves’ tally of 26 points after 29 games is nothing to shout home about.
The challenge just hasn’t really been there from the teams at the very bottom.
Wolves fans are just hoping that Vitor Pereira can now see the job through with nine games to go, and then oversee a productive summer at Molineux.
There is now only a 1.8% chance Wolves will slip back into the relegation zone between now and the end of the season, so the picture is looking much brighter.
There is real potential for Wolves to go places under this manager, and with some good backing from Fosun, there’s no reason why 2025/26 can’t be much better.
Last night, Pereira took to Instagram to send a rare message to fans.
Vitor Pereira sends message to Wolves fans on Instagram

Pereira is becoming a popular figure at Molineux.
He has come in and made big improvements to the team, but is also coming across as very likeable.
His comments about being one of the fans and being a simple man wanting to go to the pub to drink with supporters went down well.
It’s clear this job – and succeeding with Wolves – means a lot to Pereira, as he took to Instagram last night to send a new message to supporters ahead of the final nine-game stretch in the Premier League.
He said in a 55-word message: “An important victory this weekend, a moment that reflects the dedication of everyone.
“As we head into international break, I want to express my gratitude to our incredible fans, the players who give everything on the pitch, and the staff working tirelessly behind the scenes.
“Together, we are writing a beautiful story, step by step.”
Wolves might be onto a winner with Pereira
It’s been a difficult season, but Pereira has come in and really steadied the ship after a farcical start under Gary O’Neil.
There have been some positive early signs in Pereira’s reign, and fans are starting to feel quite optimistic.
There will be more bumps in the road yet. But Pereira clearly has these players fighting hard and carrying out his tactical plans.

He’s also spoken about how he sees that there are characters and personalities in the dressing room, regularly praising them in post-match interviews.
You get the sense they’ve all taken to him, and the same can be said of many fans.
The job just needs seeing through now, and then it will be so important for Pereira to be backed this summer if Wolves are to start being ambitious again.
