Wolves stormed to another victory at the weekend, this time beating Leicester City 3-0 at Molineux.
It’s now six wins in a row for Wanderers, who moved up to 13th place in the table and onto 41 points.
Wolves were superior to the Foxes in all departments, and really piled further misery onto the already relegated side.
Matheus Cunha, Jorgen Strand Larsen and Rodrigo Gomes all scored for Wolves, and it was just a dominant display from the hosts. And there were also some nice moments in the game when Wolves fans serenaded former captain Conor Coady.
Vitor Pereira can do no wrong at the moment.
And fans are now genuinely starting to believe that special things can happen under this manager.
Few expected things to go quite this well under the Portuguese, who admitted there is one thing that he didn’t really see happening at Molineux.
Vitor Pereira surprised by ‘special’ connection he’s built with Wolves fans

In recent weeks it has become clear that Wolves fans have really taken to Pereira.
The manager has people eating out of the palm of his hands at the moment. Not only has he turned Wolves into a winning machine, but he’s also said the right things at every turn, and handled tricky situations well.
It’s clear that having a good relationship with the supporters makes Pereira tick.
But even he has been taken aback by the connection he’s formed with the Molineux faithful.
After yesterday’s win, he said: “It is difficult to imagine. Sometimes I lose my focus on the game because I want to thank them [the supporters], but this is the connection since the first game, and this is something special. I didn’t expect it. Of course, before I had this experience at other clubs, but not like not like this.
“The secret is the energy that we share together. They send to us the good energy, we send to them the good energy and the energy at the end of the day is to feel proud of ourselves.”
Something special is happening at Wolves
The job Pereira has done at Wolves is astonishing.
The mood at the club in the final weeks of Gary O’Neil’s reign could barely be any lower, and relegation looked a serious possibility at one point.
Pereira had a lot to sort out, but he’s come in and done a remarkable job.

His appointment was a bit left-field,
But certainly, no one is questioning it now – in fact, many wouldn’t begrudge Pereira getting a new contract at Wolves.
Something special is happening at Wolves, and it is now so important that Fosun give Pereira the backing he deserves.
