Matheus Cunha has been magnificent for Wolves this season and without him, they’d have zero chance of clinching Premier League survival.
Cunha has been involved in almost half of the 31 goals Wolves have scored, producing 10 goals and four assists in 20 matches.
The 25-year-old has developed into a truly unbelievable talent, combining his powerful driving runs, footballing brain and elite-level finishing to become one of the Premier League’s most exciting stars.
Arsenal have shown an interest in Cunha, who has also attracted the attention of several other clubs, including Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham.
These teams see the Brazilian superstar as a player capable of playing in the Champions League, and while that is the truth, there is still one area of his game that can improve.

Vitor Pereira thinks Matheus Cunha can improve his work off the ball
Speaking in Friday’s press conference ahead of the clash against Chelsea on Monday night, Vitor Pereira spoke in detail about his talisman.
Pereira lauded Cunha for his ‘magic’ in the final third and his unpredictability but in a conversation with the Brazilian, he challenged him to become a ‘top-level player’ by being committed in every moment and working aggressively off the ball.
“He gives us the creativity, he is unpredictable. He can do magic on the pitch. My conversation with Cunha is that, to be a top-level player, he must be committed in every moment of the game. If we lose the ball, he must run and get the ball again,” the Wolves manager said via Liam Keen on X.
Former boss Gary O’Neil also said Cunha needs to improve off the ball, with both managers agreeing on how the star can reach even greater heights.
Cunha could miss Wolves clash vs Chelsea
Cunha only just returned from his two-match ban, coming off the bench at half-time in the 3-0 defeat against Newcastle United.
The forward was nailed on to start on Monday however, Pereira revealed that Cunha could miss the clash against Chelsea due to illness.
Pereira wanted to assess whether he was fine to train on Saturday and if he came through it fine, there is a chance he would be involved.
However, the possibility of being without their 10-goal star would be a huge blow, and the fans travelling down to West London will be praying to see his name on the team sheet.
