Vitor Pereira’s first press conference of the season has just ended, with some interesting comments on Wolves’ plans in the market before deadline day.
The Premier League is back. Today we got to see the first pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday’s clash with Manchester City.
This marks the start of Vitor Pereira’s first full season in England, and he didn’t hold back when giving his thoughts on what Wolves need going into the new campaign.

Vitor Pereira tight-lipped on Jackson Tchatchoua situation
Wolves have all but finalised a deal for Jackson Tchatchoua, agreeing personal terms and arranging a medical.
But when asked about their new right-back, Pereira didn’t give much away.
Journalist Nathan Judah was on hand to get Pereira’s comments, and when the topic of Tchatchoua came up, he kept it short and sweet: “I don’t know, we’ll see.”
Not much to go off there, but until an official announcement, it’s the answer you’d expect.
Three more Wolves signings needed according to Vitor Pereira
When asked about the transfer window so far, Pereira was quick to voice his frustration at the lack of business early in the summer, saying: “Sometimes it’s possible to get players early, sometimes it’s not. It’s been a strange market this summer; it didn’t move a lot, we had Club World Cup. I don’t like to wait, but this is a reality.”
Pereira hopes they can make up for the inactivity in the final weeks of August. He said: “In an ideal world, we want more, we are working, they know I need at least 3 more players. They know the positions, they know the profiles.”
‘They’ obviously referring to Fosun, who have been far from popular amongst the Wolves support as of late.
Both the fans and the manager will be hoping the club can find their wallet and address the gaps in the squad in the time that is left before the market closes.
