Wolves have had an extremely busy few days. The fallout from their FA Cup defeat continues to roll on with Matheus Cunha at the centre of it.
Cunha was shown a straight red card against Bournemouth for a violent outburst after clashing with Milos Kerkez.
The Brazilian has predictably dominated headlines, but despite the controversies surrounding Wolves’ star man, fans have received some good news about another important player.

Rodrigo Gomes returning to Wolves training
Rodrigo Gomes has missed Wolves’ last five matches after injuring his pelvis. The 21-year-old was suffering from inflammation but appears to have put those issues behind him.
The Portuguese flying winger will return to Wolves first team training on Tuesday, sources have told Molineux News.
Gomes‘ return to action is a welcome boost for Vitor Pereira who has been navigating a challenging period with several key players sidelined.
The 21-year-old’s return also provides Pereira with more attacking options as Cunha begins his suspension.
More options
Pereira is quite set in his system, which features two high-flying wing-backs, and two number 10s.
However, with Cunha now set for a spell out after his FA Cup red card and Gomes back, Pereira could consider tweaking his system to factor in the hugely talented wide-man.
Goncalo Guedes has not featured since last month due to a problem with his knee and remains a doubt ahead of the weekend.
And while Gomes may not be named in Wolves’ next starting lineup, the youngster can expect to be part of the matchday squad to host David Moyes’ Toffees on Saturday night.
