Good news all around from Vitor Pereira’s Burnley press conference
Now is not the time for players to be missing time. As early as it is in the season, it feels as though each game has incredibly high stakes now.
Thankfully, Pereira’s update suggests he will be able to put out his best lineup, whatever that may be. Liam Keen has relayed the words of the Wolves boss.
Hwang and Bellegarde are set to make a return, and Strand Larsen has improved over the course of the week. He’ll also be available to start.
The magnitude of this tie is obvious. Pereira has been under pressure this week, after a gut-punch of a loss to Sunderland. Every player who gets the nod will need to be on top of their game from the first whistle.
A win would take Wolves from two points to five. As obvious as that is, it does sound an awful lot better.
With every one of his players at his disposal, there can be no excuses from Pereira.
