Wolves manager Vitor Pereira has made a flying start to life in the Premier League at Molineux.
It’s been three games unbeaten for Pereira’s record-breaking start as Wolves manager, guiding the Old Gold to two wins and a draw.
Already, the Wolves squad have noticed the differences between Pereira and Gary O’Neil, who was sacked after the defeat to Ipswich Town.
Since the result, Pereira’s side have picked up seven points from a possible nine, with Wolves certainly heading in the right direction.

Vitor Pereira issues challenge to Nelson Semedo
A lot of Pereira’s success has come from the squad re-building their confidence, with it clear that change was desperately needed at Compton Park.
Tommy Doyle admitted that O’Neil had to leave for a new level of belief to be implemented in the team, which has happened now that the new boss is at the helm.
While the squad are getting what they want from the manager, it’s become apparent that Pereira wants a little more from some players.
That’s according to the coach himself, as the 56-year-old told the media of his desire to see a small tweak in Nelson Semedo’s approach.

“Sometimes I need to tell Nelson [Semedo] to stop because he runs too much,” Pereira admitted to the media, via Express and Star.
“We can run a lot but I prefer they run with intelligence, but he’s the kind of personality we need in this team.”
While the manager stressed what he wants to see from the defender, Pereira also shared his desire to keep Semedo at Wolves ahead of the summer.
Semedo’s future remains in doubt
It’s become clear that Wolves want Semedo to stay at Molineux, with the understanding that the player is happy at the club.
That being said, the Old Gold must remain wary of the fact that contract talks have not started under Pereira and, that other cubs can approach Semedo in the January window.
Semedo is one of several Wolves players who are out of contract in 2025, putting pressure on Pereira and his team to determine who stays and who goes.
When it comes to Semedo, all things point to the Portuguese staying on at Molineux but there’s still work to be done to finalise such.
