Vitor Pereira has a clear message for Wolves fans ahead of Aston Villa clash

Wolves are looking to get back on track in the Premier League after going on a four-game losing streak.

Vitor Pereira enjoyed a good start after he replaced Gary O’Neil, winning his first two games and keeping two clean sheets.

But Wolves are struggling again now, and the new manager needs to prompt a turnaround.

But it doesn’t get any easier this weekend, with Aston Villa the opponents at Molineux.

Villa have been high-flying in recent times, and last night they sealed automatic qualification to the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Ahead of Saturday night’s game, Pereira has taken to Instagram to issue a rallying cry to supporters.

Wolves slipped back into the relegation zone last weekend as a result of losing to Arsenal.

The day after, Leicester City got a surprise win over Tottenham Hotspur to go above Wolves by a point.

It is a very concerning situation at the moment, and fans are hoping to see a strong finish to the transfer window to help set wolves up for the second half of the season.

At the moment, there is a focus for Wolves on signing Kevin Danso from Lens.

Wolves also want to land Volodymyr Brazhko from Dinamo Kiev.

Pereira knows Wolves are in difficulty right now. But he has taken to his official Instagram account and has made it clear he wants the rousing support of the Molineux faithful this weekend.

He said: “The work continues, day after day, with the same passion and dedication that drives us forward.

“This Saturday, our home awaits. Molineux must come alive with the energy that only our incredible supporters can bring. Your support is fundamental in this difficult period!

“The pack stands united. Let’s go Wanderers.”

Wolves and Aston Villa head-to-head

This will undoubtedly be another hard game for Wolves, who lost the reverse fixture with Villa back in 3-1 back in September.

It was the game that Wolves lost Yerson Mosquera to injury, and the Colombia international has certainly been missed since.

Wolves will have Emmanuel Agbadou in their backline for this game on Saturday though, and the Ivorian already looks to be a great addition.
