It has been an interesting start to the new season for Andre at Wolves.
Last term, Andre was one of Wolves’ best players in the second half of the campaign after Vitor Pereira came in.
Initially, he wasn’t so impactful following his move from Fluminense, but Andre eventually had Wolves fans purring over him.
That’s why this season, fans have been stunned to see Andre benched a couple of times by Pereira.
He did not start Wolves’ second game against Bournemouth, with Pereira saying of Andre that starting places are not ‘gifts’.
Then a few weeks later, Andre found himself back on the bench against Leeds United.
But Andre has since given two top performances in the games against Everton in the Carabao Cup and Tottenham Hotspur in the league, and Pereira has shared a new verdict on the maestro.
Vitor Pereira drops encouraging Andre verdict

It’s been a tough start for Wolves, who only have one point from six games so far.
With Wolves struggling like they have been, it has made Andre dropping to the bench difficult to understand.
Andy Thompson and Lee Naylor both agreed Andre was Wolves’ best player at Spurs, and after the game, Pereira did also have a positive word for the 24-year-old.
He said (via E&S): “Andre has played two games in a row at his level
“He’s a very important player.
“Tactically he’s very consistent, he’s intelligent and knows how to play as a six.
“He’s trying to be at his best level.
“Not only Andre, but other players in the team, who last season performed at a high level.
“This season, they are trying to get their condition, physically, mentally and tactically. It’s not only Andre.”
Andre form will be key to Wolves revival
Fans have wondered if something happened behind the scenes with Pereira and Andre for him to be unexpectedly dropped twice this season.

Right now, Wolves can’t afford to not have their best players playing, so it’s understandable that the question has been asked.
Simply put, Wolves need Andre on that pitch at every available opportunity.
Andre is Wolves’ best player, and him being consistently good will be vital if Pereira is to drag his team away from the relegation zone.
