Wolves are now safe in the Premier League, with Vitor Pereira having done a stellar job in recent weeks.
After a huge struggle in the first two-thirds of the campaign, Wolves have pulled clear of danger in recent weeks, and will soon have their Premier League status for next season confirmed.
The gap down to Ipswich Town is currently 14 points – with just six games left to play, it is almost certain now that the Tractor Boys will not stay up at Wolves’ expense.
So with the pressure off, Vitor Pereira has the chance to start preparing for next season.
These next six games are opportunities to look at fringe players, and perhaps try out new tactics.
And Pereira has been speaking about what fans can perhaps expect to see from the team in these remaining games.

Vitor Pereira teases Wolves players could now play in alternate positions

Pereira recently gave a fascinating interview in which he spoke about his love of devising training sessions and coming up with new ideas.
It was clear from that interview that he is so passionate about his craft, and that he does not believe in standing still.
He’s an innovator, and that will perhaps now shine though in these final games for Wolves.
Because Pereira has hinted at potentially playing players in alternate positions to create ‘surprise’ for the opponents.
He said (via E&S): “We are in the moment in the season where we can create different things and I like it.
“Every season we try to create a new piece to become a masterpiece.
“This is what I think about football.
“I had some experiences in my career where a player is playing in a different role because we asked them to do it.
“Imagine I start to ask Rayan not to play outside every time, but to come play inside.
“But the team must understand that when he comes inside, someone else must go outside.
“This is what you can create to surprise the opponents. This is the moment of the season that I’m demanding different things.”
Pereira approach would be spot on
Over the last five games we’ve seen Pereira choose the same starting XI.
And that has worked a treat for Wolves, who’ve just won four games in a row and drawn the one before that against Everton.
Arguably, having a settled team has helped.

But these comments do hint that we’ll be seeing changes and potential surprises in the final weeks of the season.
And this is the correct approach from Pereira. There would be little sense in just playing the same team until the end, because now it’s all about building and evolving.
The Wolves manager has to try out different combinations and tactical plans now that the pressure is off. Not doing so ahead of next season would simply be a waste of an opportunity.
