Wolves are anticipating a busy transfer window as Vitor Pereira aims to successfully keep his side in the Premier League.
In his first three games in charge, Pereira has dragged Wolves out of the relegation zone, posting wins over Leicester City and Manchester United along with a draw at Tottenham.
The Portuguese boss has also improved the squad’s organisation, with the Old Gold recording two clean sheets under his guidance.

As it stands, though, Wolves have the joint-worst defence in the Premier League and that is an area they’re looking to address in the window.
So far, Wolves have held talks with top target Kevin Danso and they’re also lining up a £16.5 million transfer for Reims star Emmanuel Agbadou.
While incomings are most important this month, a few players could leave Molineux, including midfielder Mario Lemina.

Vitor Pereira comments on the future of Mario Lemina
In the past few days, the Gabon international has been linked with an exit from Wolverhampton, with multiple clubs eyeing his signature.
It was first reported that Al Shabab wanted to sign Lemina and Pereira’s former club are now reportedly stepping up their interest in the 31-year-old.
An unnamed European club are also interested in Lemina, whose contract at Wolves expires in June.
So, with speculation over his future heating up, the Portuguese boss was asked about what the player’s future holds in England.
Pereira spoke about Lemina’s injury, which has prevented him from playing a single minute under the new Wolves manager, and he also revealed he’s part of his plans moving forward.
“He’s our player in this moment and this means he’s in our plans. He has a small injury but he’s part of my plans because he’s my player,” Pereira said via journalist Liam Keen on X.
This could suggest that he sees the all-action midfielder staying beyond the January transfer window, leaving Wolves with a huge decision to make.
Wolves transfer plans suggest Mario Lemina could exit
Lemina is one of four players out of contract in 2025, and this places pressure on Wolves to decide on his future.
Under Gary O’Neil Lemina’s performances declined rapidly and his petulance against West Ham saw him get stripped of the captaincy.
Since suffering a minor injury, Pereira hasn’t had the option of selecting him, instead choosing to start Andre and Joao Gomes as a double pivot with Tommy Doyle featuring off the bench.
It remains unknown whether Lemina would start in the manager’s strongest lineup however, some emerging transfer rumours suggest he could be sold if the offer is right.
Wolves have prioritised signing international midfielder Gerson, according to reports in Brazil, and he would be a huge upgrade on the Gabon star.
The Old Gold have also been linked with Palmeiras talent Richard Rios along with Newcastle United dynamo Sean Longstaff.
So, it appears Pereira will either cash in on Lemina and sign someone in his place or offer him a new deal in the coming months – perhaps the first scenario is best for both parties.
