Wolves Under-21s fell to defeat at the hands of Stockport on Tuesday, but one teenager put on another superb performance.
Everyone recognises that not enough was done in the incomings department at Wolves this summer.
Vitor Pereira wanted more signings, but the deadline passed with just one arrival on the final day, Tolu Arokodare from Genk.

As a result, Pereira may have to get creative in finding solutions in the squad, and one teen looks ready to step up.
Mateus Mane has another strong display for Wolves Under-21s
Mateus Mane is the most promising young talent at the club.
The youngest ever Premier League player for Wolves is going from strength to strength in the opening weeks.
Mane has now scored in his last two appearances for the Under-21s, standing out even as a 17-year-old.
Recent seasons of the Premier League have seen players of this age (and younger) break out, and with Mane, it seems only a matter of time.
Vitor Pereira might lean on Mateus Mane for depth now that transfer window is shut
Following his previous impressive performance, we suggested Pereira could look to use Mane more this season.
Now that deadline day has passed without additions outside of the striker position, Maneโs skillset could be a valuable asset.

Wolves have been crying out for creativity going forward, and despite his youth, the teen has that attribute in spades.
At the very least, Pereira should give him minutes at unimportant times to start off, and see how he progresses in the senior team. Wolves could really use another star.
