Wolves made it five Premier League wins in a row by beating Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Wolves beat Manchester United 1-0 to move up to 15th in the Premier League table.
Pablo Sarabia was lauded by Wolves fans after the win as he netted in style to win the game with only 13 minutes left to play, seeing the Old Gold do the double over Man United for the first time in 45 years.
After the win, Alan Shearer was prompted to praise Vitor Pereira’s impact at Wolves, but the manager and the match-winner weren’t the only recipients of applause.

Santiago Bueno lauded for Man United performance
Pereira made two changes to his starting XI at Old Trafford, bringing Matheus Cunha and Santiago Bueno in to replace Jean-Ricner Bellegarde and Matt Doherty.
While it was Cunha who was expected to have a bigger influence on the game than Bueno, it was actually the latter who received high praise post-match.
Analysing Wolves’ win on the E&S Wolves Podcast were journalists Liam Keen and Nathan Judah, who directed applause Bueno’s way, despite his tough season.
“We’ve both been critical of him [Bueno], I think fairly so. It’s warranted at times this season because he has got some good things about him, but physically, there are shortcomings as a Premier League defender,” Keen said.
The Wolves expert then shared his belief that, despite his struggles, Bueno was a better performer than Emmanuel Agbadou at Old Trafford.

“In comparison to Agbadou, Bueno had a better game, in my opinion,” he said.
“I thought he was assured, he didn’t steal any headlines, he didn’t make any mistakes, and he carried himself really, really well.”
Agbadou has been described as Wolves’ signing of the season, which is warranted for the impact he’s had on the Old Gold’s back three.
Bueno, on the other hand, has been criticised this campaign, but against Man United, the Uruguayan showed his worth.
Doubts over Bueno’s future at Wolves
Bueno’s suitability for the Premier League has been questioned since the 26-year-old’s 2023 transfer from Girona.
Pereira bridged the gap between Wolves’ first and second-choice central defenders by signing Agbadou in January, which has seen Bueno occupy the bench.
Though the Uruguay international impressed against Man United, Keen admitted that there is uncertainty regarding the defender’s future at Molineux.
When asked if Bueno could leave Wolves in the summer transfer window, the Express and Star reporter shared his doubts.
“There’s definitely going to be a few things that go into this decision. I don’t think it’ll be cut and dried, absolutely, but I’m going to say he probably goes elsewhere.”
Bueno leaving the Premier League, perhaps, wouldn’t come as a surprise, with the summer set to be a fascinating period for Pereira’s squad.
