Andre has been told why he has not featured in Wolves’ last two games by Gary O’Neil ahead of their away clash vs Fulham.
Despite Wolves’ awful start to the Premier League season, one of the bright sparks in the squad has been Andre.
The Brazilian international made a deadline-day move to Molineux in the summer and quickly showed the quality he possessed on the field.
Andre is described as ‘unbelievable’ by Brazilian expert Nathan Joyes, yet, questions have been raised on why he isn’t starting.
Even in Wolves’ weakest performances this season, the 23-year-old has stood out. For example, in the 5-3 defeat to Brentford, Andre had the highest passing completion rate in the Premier League for that game week.
For the past three games the midfielder has now been absentee from the starting XI and O’Neil has explained why.
Wolves star Andre is still ‘adapting’ to the Premier League

The Brazilian’s last start for Wolves came in the 2-1 defeat against Man City last month. During the tie, Andre was subbed off at half-time after struggling against City.
Since then, the midfielder has mainly been seen on the bench, with his only time on the pitch being a one-minute cameo in the 2-2 draw against Brighton.
This is a stark contrast to earlier in the season when Andre started five of his first six games in Old Gold.
Now, ahead of the Fulham clash, O’Neil has explained that a combination of the team’s recent form and the fact that Andre is still adapting to the Premier League has resulted in his absence.
He said: “ [Andre is] working very hard, the centre-midfield area is one of our strongest.
“Job vs Man City didn’t suit him and we’ve been three unbeaten since then.
“He’s still adapting, but he’s going to be big for us and will be used sooner rather than later.”
Gary O’Neil is right to keep Andre out of the Wolves starting line-up

While Andre is no doubt a fantastic player, O’Neil is right to keep him out of the starting XI for now.
As it stands, the club are on their best run of form for a long time after collecting five points from their last three games.
While the performances may not have been great in those games, all that matters at the moment is the points.
Disrupting the balance of the side could jeopardize this. Therefore, as it stands, Andre must wait for his chance again.
