Brendan Rodgers has talked of his excitement ahead of Wolverhampton Wanderers clash in Dublin.
The ex-Leicester boss is no stranger to facing Old Gold having managed in England for several years.
Now, leading Celtic he prepares to face Wolves as the two sides meet at the Aviva Stadium next week in pre-season.
Rodgers has been speaking about the fixture and pin-pointed why he is eagerly anticipating the tie.
Rodgers praises Lopetegui
Speaking to Celtic TV at the end of his side’s tour in Japan, Rodgers could contain his admiration for Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui and the squad at his disposal.

When quizzed on his views for the game, he said: “Very much so. Having obviously worked against Wolves the last few years in the Premier League, I know how good their squad is”.
He continued to single out Lopetegui for praise saying that, “they’ve got a top-class manager.”
The game will be a test for both as Celtic are further ahead in their preparations for the season.
Big Wolves test
Celtics’ season starts a whole nine days before Wolves’ meaning they are far ahead of Wolves in match-fitness at this stage.
Wolves will be Celtic’s penultimate friendly on July 29th while Wolves play another two, with Luton Town and French side Rennes awaiting them.
The game will give Lopetegui a huge opportunity to evaluate his squad and who he wants around his first-team with still a few weeks to plan his XI.
