Tony Cascarino has been left shocked by what he has seen from Wolves this season after yet another defeat in the Premier League.
The Old Gold have been far from good, and they are primed for a relegation battle this campaign after a 2-0 loss to Sunderland.
Two points from eight games has left them in 20th place, and the Wanderers need to start picking up results soon, with them now five points from safety.

Vitor Pereira has not helped himself with his post-match comments after losing at the Stadium of Light, and the mood around the club is at a low.
Tony Cascarino has now delivered his thoughts on Wolves, and the pundit is dumbfounded at what has gone on.

Tony Cascarino in disbelief at how bad Wolves have been
Last campaign, Vitor Pereira changed the fortunes of the club, guiding them away from relegation. His job led him to garner a lot of favour with Wolves fans and with football pundits too.
After last season, the hope was that after some good recruitment and with the quality of the Portuguese head coach, they could avoid being in a relegation battle entirely.
However, that has not been the case so far.
Tony Cascarino is one man who thought Wolves would be much better and has admitted his shock at how poor they have been this season, with the Old Gold yet to win a Premier League game.
Cascarino said, “I am surprised, just so surprised, that Wolves have been this poor. I know they have lost players. I thought Pereira’s team was really good last year at times. I am surprised at what I am watching this year.”
The quality in Wolves’ squad is yet to shine through, but there is definitely quality there. They have lost key players, but they did also spend quite a bit.
However, the issue comes from the lack of readiness of the signings for the intensity of the Premier League, and that is something Wolves fans foresaw.
Wolves fans saw this coming
While Tony Cascarino might be surprised, Wolves fans won’t be.
Many saw these problems coming, and the recruitment in the summer did not give supporters a positive feeling.
Although there were some good transfers, such as Ladislav Krejci, the lack of Premier League-ready talent brought in was, at the very least, a short-term downgrade on their options from last season.
The summer signings could turn good, and in time, they may turn out to be better than the players they lost; however, Pereira does not have the luxury of time with relegation looming, and early signs point to the opposite.
Patience is running out for many of the new arrivals, and it seems like we are saying they will come good soon every week now.
This could end up being a very long and arduous season for Wolves, and relegation is now looking likely.
