A timescale on when Sasa Kalajdzic will be fit has been revealed by his agent after his recent horrific injury.
The Austrian picked up another terrible ACL injury after he was forced off for Frankfurt after just 11 minutes.
The striker had been sent to Germany in January on loan to receive some much-needed game time. Kalajdzic had fallen out of favour under Gary O’Neil despite netting some important goals for Wolves this season.
At Frankfurt, his form looked to be returning as he grabbed a goal and assist for his new club just weeks after leaving.
However, his season has now come to an abrupt end after it was revealed that the striker had picked up another long-term injury.
Sasa Kalajdzic set to be out long-term

Kalajdzic has become the latest Wolves forward to pick up an injury after Matheus Cunha. However, it seems that the Austrian’s is far more serious.
After only coming back to the pitch this season after spending a year out, it seems as if the striker will have to wait a similar amount of time again.
Kalajdzic’s agent spoke to Sky Sports Germany recently to clarify the striker’s situation and how long he will be out for.
The post said: Sasa Kalajdzic is being treated in England today by specialist Dr. Andy Williams undergoes surgery. Kalajdzic advisor Sascha Empacher tells Sky exclusively: “It’s frustrating, but don’t worry: Sasa is coming back! He is mentally very strong and is now taking on this task. After that, we’ll see him again in winter at the latest.”
More bad luck for Sasa Kalajdzic

Luck has just not been on Kalajdzic’s side since he joined the club in the summer of 2022. This is now his second long-term injury since signing with fitness becoming a real issue for him.
It brings into question why Wolves didn’t highlight this before he joined as it was well-known that he is injury prone.
With injuries consistently a problem, it may be wise for Wolves to try and sell the striker once he is fit again.
The money could be of use in the transfer market and O’Neil does not favour the striker in his line-up. With Nathan Fraser also breaking through, it is hard to see where Kalajdzic’s place is when he returns to fitness.
