Wolves will be desperate to end the 2024/25 campaign strongly on the back of two defeats.
With two games left to play, Vitor Pereira will be eager to carry his side to a finish higher than Gary O’Neil’s 14th-place 2023/24 campaign.
Given that the Wolves manager has had to clean up the Englishman’s mess, it would be fitting for Pereira to record a 13th-place finish to end his first spell at Molineux.
The Old Gold will be seeking redemption in the penultimate game of the season against Crystal Palace after a bitterly disappointing defeat to Brighton.

Liam Keen left unimpressed by Pablo Sarabia against Brighton
Brighton beat Wolves 2-0 at Molineux in a performance that Pereira was far from satisfied with.
Pereira noted that his team lost tactical intelligence for the first time in his reign, calling for his players to revisit past levels to ensure the campaign doesn’t fizzle out.
Several members of the squad had an afternoon to forget when the Seagulls visited, highlighted by the Wolves boss making a quadruple substitution.
Though Pereira looked to the bench to provide a source of inspiration, such was lacking from those who came on, as journalist Liam Keen commented on post-match.
Speaking as part of Express and Star’s post-match reaction, Keen singled out Pablo Sarabia as ‘the worst’ substitution in terms of the Spaniard’s lack of impact.
“Sarabia, of the four, was the worst for me,” the Wolves expert said.
“I thought he’s done well off the bench in other games, but he was all over the place when he came on, just passing the ball out of play, completely misplacing everything; he just summed up Wolves’ afternoon.”
Sarabia has been Wolves’ super sub throughout his time at Molineux; however, against Brighton, the forward was unable to reach his previous heights.
Keen was correct in his evaluation of the 33-year-old’s cameo, as Sarabia misplaced seven passes in 31 minutes, won no duels, had no shots on goal and lost possession 12 times, as per Sofascore.
Sarabia has two games to leave Wolves on a high note
It was a poor performance from Wolves as a collective, and particularly Sarabia, whose minutes in the Premier League are running out.

Sarabia will leave Wolves in the summer at the expiration of his contract, giving the Spain international extra motive to end the season on a high.
With clashes against Crystal Palace and Brentford remaining, Pereira will be trusting Sarabia to show his best in two games that could pose a challenge to Wolves.
It’s almost certain that the attacker’s Molineux exit will also symbolise the end of his playing days in England, something the veteran star will be desperate to turn his back on with fond memories.
