Nuno Espirito Santo has been linked with an exit from Molineux.

The Sun have claimed that super agent Jorge Mendes is looking to find the manager a new club, and that recently there was contact with Arsenal.

The Gunners were struggling a few weeks back and when Mikel Arteta was under big pressure, Mendes apparently had talks with Arsenal officials.

Supposedly Mendes is actively looking to secure a move elsewhere for Nuno given how his reputation has grown over the past few years.

The report has cause a bit of a stir on social media, and some people have been asking journalist Tim Spiers if he has anything on the situation.

It turns out he does. Writing on Twitter, he said: “In response to a few questions…the notion of Nuno/his agent actively looking for another Premier League club to move to – whilst simultaneously leaving Wolves in the lurch – is not one that’s being entertained, despite suggestions to the contrary.”

With Nuno having only penned a new deal back in September, the report certainly came out of the blue and a departure any time soon for the 46-year-old would be a major shock.

Nuno going nowhere

Nuno’s reputation may have grown in recent times, but there’s surely no way he’s leaving any time soon.

Him signing that contract back in September suggests he’s in it for the long haul.

2020/21 has been tough so far and some have taken a pop at Nuno for changing formation and various other things, but he has undoubtedly earned time to get things back on track and he would not walk out on the club in a sticky patch.
