‘This is an incredible player’: Pundit says any team would love to sign £50k-a-week Wolves star

Former USMNT international Janusz Michallik believes Wolves have an ‘incredible’ player on their hands in Pedro Neto.

The youngster has flown out of the traps this season for Wanderers.

Neto has been the standout player for Wolves.

On Saturday, he made headlines again for his amazing performance in the 2-1 win over Manchester City, that saw him given Nathan ake the runaround.

Neto made the first goal, which was turned into the City net by Ruben Dias in the end.

Neto is absolutely shining right now, and he came in for some very high praise from Michallik…

Janusz Michallik hails Wolves star Pedro Neto as ‘incredible’

Michallik, now a pundit, was speaking about Neto in a recent video for ESPN FC, amid speculation that Arsenal are keen.

He said: “I mean we saw Manchester United and Liverpool on it as well.

“This is an incredible player, of course, his explosiveness is unique in a way.

“For a wide player, he’s quicker with the ball than he is without it. Obviously, his dribbling ability, when he gets the ball, he’s 40, 50, 60 yards away from goal, he’s only got one thing in mind, just go at it.

“We saw that before his injury which took him out for the entire season pretty much.

“Just about any team, anywhere not just in the Premier League would see him when healthy as one of those players that changes games.”

Neto’s directness is refreshing

It is totally refreshing to watch Neto play.

The £50,000-a-week star’s first thought is always how he can advance the ball into a dangerous position.

He’s got the speed and skill to go past anyone.

Wolves lost Adama Traore in the summer and it’s nice to have someone else capable of flying past a man.

Unfortunately, Michallik could be right when he says many clubs could see Neto as a game-changer.

Paul Merson also suggested some of the world’s top clubs could be on his tail next year.
