Fans are currently a little worried about Wolves going into the new season, given how the transfer window has gone, but Goncalo Guedes has highlighted something ‘incredible’ at the club.
Vitor Pereira has been hoping for new faces this summer, and so far just two have come through the door.
Fer Lopez signed last month and just today, Wolves announced Jhon Arias as the club’s second addition.
But a host of players have left, including Matheus Cunha, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Pablo Sarabia, Nelson Semedo (not officially confirmed yet), Craig Dawson, Carlos Forbs, Tommy Doyle, Nasser Djiga and Boubacar Traore.
So there is still a huge amount to do.
Pereira has admitted his concern over Wolves’ summer, but there is still time for the new leadership team to get the squad prepared.
But despite a less-than-ideal transfer window, Goncalo Guedes believes there’s one major position right now.
Goncalo Guedes hails ‘incredible’ team spirit at Wolves

Guedes has hinted he could be staying at Wolves in a new interview.
The forward really talked up how happy he is at the moment, and even spoke about making an impact in the coming season.
Certainly, his remarks were not those of a player looking to leave.
That said, you can never say never – the collapse of the Marc Pubill deal certainly showed that.
But just at the moment, him staying feels more likely – and the star believes there is an ‘incredible’ team spirit at Wolves right now.
He said (via E&S): “I think the team spirit is unbelievable. The team is young. We all joke, but when we do the work, all the time we’re focused, and this is the most important thing.”
Guedes could spring surprise for a second straight summer
So it is looking like Guedes could stay at Wolves, which would again be surprising. Because speculation seems to constantly follow him.
But he’s clearly a lot happier now than he was a couple of years ago, and seemingly that is down to what the feeling is like in the dressing room at the moment.
Guedes talks of the team spirit being ‘incredible’, and this might just be something that keeps him around.
Emmanuel Agbadou has also suggested there is strong leadership right now, so between what these two players have said, it’s safe to say that the dressing room is in a very healthy place.
And that is so important, because potentially this could be a tricky season, and everyone will need to pull together.
