Wolves are taking on Manchester United at Molineux on Monday night, and one surprising statistic may give the hosts hope.
Wanderers will once again go in search of their first victory in the Premier League this season.
The defeat against Nottingham Forest in midweek was truly awful, and a big response is needed at Molineux.
Our predicted Wolves XI to face Manchester United 🐺
Wolves fans are planning to protest against Fosun’s ownership at Molineux, with fans planning a boycott, meaning we will be seeing empty seats, at least for the opening stages of the game.
The aim is to use this game to shine a light on the owners, given it will go out to a huge audience.
In terms of the game itself, Wolves are clear underdogs once again. However, there is perhaps one reason for encouragement.
Manchester United can’t keep clean sheets, just like Wolves

It has been another interesting season so far for Manchester United.
Currently, they sit 12th. But given how tight the league is, they are only three points off the top four.
They will obviously see the game with Wolves as a big opportunity for three points.
But one Manchester United stat may well encourage Rob Edwards, and that is that the Red Devils really struggle to keep clean sheets.
They have kept just one clean sheet in the Premier League all season, which came against Sunderland at the start of October.
So that is only as many as Wolves have managed. But United have conceded considerably fewer goals than Wolves (21 vs 29), and have of course, scored plenty more (22 vs 7).

Jorgen Strand Larsen and co must step up
United’s inability to keep a clean sheet should be reason for encouragement for Wolves.
But of course, we have seen Wolves massively struggle in the final third this season, so United will be hopeful of keeping a rare clean sheet at Molineux.
The likes of Jorgen Strand Larsen need to step up and deliver tomorrow night.
Should Wolves have sold Jorgen Strand Larsen? Alan Shearer certainly thinks so 😬
Strand Larsen has come in for a lot of criticism lately for his lack of impact.
Indeed, Alan Shearer has questioned Strand Larsen and insisted he hasn’t seen much from Wolves’ striker to explain why Newcastle United were going to pay over £50 million to sign him in the summer.
Rob Edwards desperately needs his number nine to find form again.
That said, Strand Larsen needs his teammates to also provide a bit more creativity, if Wanderers are to get anything from this game.
