Wolves will look to avenge their Bramall Lane loss this weekend as they welcome Sheffield United to Molineux.
Despite inconsistencies in recent weeks for Wolves, this season has continued to be phenomenal and European football remains within reach.
On 35 points, Wolves sit at the foot of a five-team battle for seventh and a coveted Europa Conference League spot.
With five wins in the last eight Premier League fixtures, Wolves remain good value for their position and are comfortably locked in that group along with Newcastle and Chelsea.
This weekend, an opportunity has arisen to move further up the table and potentially into the top 10 as Gary O’Neil‘s side faces the league’s bottom-placed side, Sheffield United.
Now Chris Sutton has predicted the game, in which he had just one question for Wolves.

Chris Sutton asks just one question ahead of Wolves vs Fulham
Sutton wrote his Premier League predictions article on BBC prior to this weekend’s action in which he also predicted Wolves vs Sheffield United.
In his prediction for the game on Sunday, he had no doubt over the victor but did have just one question for Wolves to answer.
“Wolves will win – the only question is: by how many?” He asked.
“Sheffield United are down as far as I am concerned, they have had it.
“They beat Wolves at Bramall Lane at the start of November but that doesn’t matter – apart from their win at Luton earlier this month, it has felt like the Blades are getting smashed every week.”
Sutton concluded with a 2-0 scoreline prediction for Wolves which could see Old Gold move as high as eighth depending on results elsewhere this weekend.
Wolves must take opportunity to bolster goal difference
There’s no disguising it for Wolves, this weekend is the perfect opportunity to score some goals and bring that goal difference into positive numbers to match those teams around them.
They won’t get a better opportunity than against Sheffield United either with Chris Wilder’s side having a minus 43 goal differential.
With this in mind, O’Neil’s side need to go for the kill against the Blades as come May, goal difference could very well determine who qualifies for the Europa Conference and who doesn’t.
