Times are looking bleak for both Wolves and Vitor Pereira, and after a stretch of nine Premier League games without a win, it would not be a surprise to see the club part ways with their head coach.
When asked about whether he is feeling pressure, Vitor Pereira dodged the question and answered around it, rather than directly addressing it.
Jorgen Strand Larsen says the players are still backing Pereira, but when it comes to the fans, the relationship has become toxic.
Things turned sour following the full-time whistle on Sunday. The Wolves manager angrily confronted the South Bank, and the scenes were uncomfortable viewing.
Now reports about how Jeff Shi and Fosun feel about Pereira have been circulating.

Vitor Pereira is safe from a Wolves sacking right now
Vitor Pereira’s job at Wolves is certainly on a timer, but the head coach does not have to worry about losing his role at the Old Gold in the immediate future.
A report by BBC Sport states, “Sources have told BBC Sport he is not in immediate danger.
“Shi and those in charge still feel his experience will be crucial in the survival battle, having taken them from second bottom to safety last season.”
While he is likely to not be sacked before the Molineux side plays Fulham, that is not to say things cannot change quickly.

At the moment, Jeff Shi and Fosun will want to save their blushes; the decision to award Vitor Pereira a new contract just over a month ago is starting to look like a major error.
It is reported that “There is a hesitancy to change given the amount of managers the club have gone through recently, and fan reaction will not sway Shi.”
It was a poor day for the Wanderers, and only a few could come away with their heads held high, and there were some Wolves players who deserve credit for listening to fans’ frustrations.
Defeat to Fulham could be the final nail in the coffin
If Wolves lose to Fulham, Jeff Shi could be forced to pull the trigger on sacking Vitor Pereira. Right now, Wolves are six points off safety, but that gap would grow further with defeat against the Cottagers.
A loss could put them eight points behind Burnley, given the Clarets are expected to lose to Arsenal, and it would put Fulham nine points away from the Old Gold.

At that stage, it seems difficult for Pereira to swing things around, and perhaps fresh blood in the dugout could make the difference.
The battle to survive is looking tougher this year, and despite the 57-year-old guiding them away last season, the same does not seem to be possible now.
However, next up is Chelsea in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.
