Wolves enjoyed a 2-0 win over West Bromwich Albion in the FA Cup on Sunday – and just before the game, Jose Sa was seen partaking in some solid banter.
Gary O’Neil‘s side are through to the fifth round of the competition, after Pedro Neto and the ‘excellent’ Matheus Cunha scored a goal in each half for Wanderers at the Hawthorns.
It was the first time Wolves had won away at West Brom since 1996, and fans have been lapping it up on social media since the final whistle blew.
It was not Wolves’ greatest performance of the season, but it was never going to be about how they played, and always about the result.
Spirits have been extremely high since Sunday, but for Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa, they were also high just before kick-off on Sunday…
Jose Sa spotted taking picture of Craig Dawson wearing West Brom colours at the Hawthorns

This current Wolves squad are a very tight-knit bunch, and it’s been clear to see how much they all get on.
There is a real camaraderie in that dressing room right now, and credit must go to recruitment officials for signing players that are not only great footballers, but top characters too.
Wolves often release content showing the players having banter with one another.
And on Sunday, as the players were arriving at the Hawthorns and making their way to the dressing room, Jose Sa was filmed having some fun at the expense of Craig Dawson.
Sa and Matheus Cunha were walking by, and the pair then spotted a picture of Dawson in full West Brom kit. Without a moment’s hesitation, an amused Sa whipped out his phone and took a picture of the 33-year-old.
Dawson, of course, played for the Baggies earlier in his career, making 225 appearances for them before leaving to join Watford in 2019. After his spell at Vicarage Road, Dawson joined West Ham, before finally making a £3 million move to Wolves in January 2023.
We can only imagine the fun Sa will have had with Dawson showing him the picture, and hopefully there will be some content to follow around this.
It is certainly interesting that West Brom still have Dawson plastered over the walls at the Hawthorns, given he now plays for their bitter rivals – clearly, the defender is still highly regarded despite now playing for Wanderers.
