Wolves lost their latest Premier League game against Manchester United and pundit Darren Bent was left stunned by something he saw Andre do.
Rob Edwards’ 100% losing record continue, as the Old Gold fell at Molineux in a 4-1 loss.
Wolves managed to go in at half-time at 1-1. But United then ran away with it in the second half, with Wanderers all at sea defensively.
Edwards has criticised Wolves’ ability on the transition, suggesting his players need to make better decisions.
But Wolves also simply need to stop gift-wrapping goals for the opposition.
United broke the deadlock on Monday with a goal that really just summed up Wolves’ season, with Andre getting caught on the ball.
But it was actually the reaction from the midfield that stunned Darren Bent.

Darren Bent shocked at Andre’s reaction to losing the ball vs Man United

When things are going really badly, it is really important that the levels of the best players in particular don’t dip.
Andre is potentially Wolves’ best player, so it was really disappointing to see him gift that ball to United on the opening goal.
But the turnover in possession, in Darren Bent’s view, was made worse by Andre’s reaction to losing the ball.
He said on talkSPORT: “Defensively, in possession. And even the first goal almost sums up where Wolves are.
What do you make of Rob Edwards calling for more support of the players after the Man United loss?
Was this plea justified? 🤔
“The first goal for Bruno Fernandes, I think it’s Andre who’s got the ball. I don’t know what he’s taking an eternity for. He’s got the ball, he’s looking, he’s looking. And then even when he gets tackled, he just sits on the ground.
“There are people that are about 10 yards behind him that are sprinting past him to get back in. No urgency. And then he’s looking around as if to say ‘Well what’s happened?’ You’ve given the ball away, keep hold of the ball! They were atrocious.”
Disappointing from Andre
It is a worrying sign when you’ve got a player as good as Andre making such a basic error, and Bent’s view will be shared by lots of supporters.
He was extremely slow to get up after being dispossessed, and it is little wonder why some fans questioned Rob Edwards’ comments after the game.

Edwards had called on the fans for more support, but many argued that these players are not giving them enough.
Andre is a fine player on his day, but reactions like that will do little else than invite a lot of criticism.
