Simon Jordan has praised Wolves for renewing their pursuit of Julen Lopetegui.
Wanderers were reported last night to be back in negotiations with the Spanish manager, who has been out of work for a few weeks now since leaving Sevilla.

Lopetegui had initially turned Wolves down.
But Wolves have gone back in for the 56-year-old, and there is seemingly now a good chance of him coming to Molineux.
The picture has changed, and it is being suggesting Lopetegui could even be announced next week and perhaps start during the World Cup.
Wolves fans have been rejoicing since last night’s development.
Many have been begging for a new head coach to come in to replace Bruno Lage, who was sacked exactly one month ago today.
Wolves had initially said that Steve Davis would remain in interim charge until 2023.
But it appears they could now go back on that decision, with Lopetegui supposedly having indicated he’d be willing to take the job.
On talkSPORT yesterday, Wolves’ efforts to get Lopetegui were praised by Simon Jordan.
The former Crystal Palace owner said: “What do you do next? Stay with your gut reaction which is ‘No, no, no, we want this guy, so we’re going to have to do more to try and get him’. In the same way that Tottenham Hotspur no doubt did with Antonio Conte.
“Whilst it doesn’t look great for them and whilst we run the rule over them about not scoring enough goals and sitting in the bottom three, they’re not marooned away from the sides above them. It’s very early in the season.”
Julen Lopetegui appointment might just save Wolves’ bacon after awful start to 2022/23, as Simon Jordan praises club
It is brilliant news that Wolves are back in talks with Lopetegui, who supposedly instigated them himself.
But Wolves should be praised for keeping that avenue open. Clearly, he is the man they really want and have since Lage left.
Hopefully officials can now get this finalised.

For it to not happen at this point would be a crushing blow to everybody.
Somehow, it feels like it will indeed be third time lucky for Wanderers.
