Largely, 2022 has been pretty good so far for Wolves.
The club had a sluggish start to the 2021/22 season, although there were positives signs despite some bad results.
But since the turn of the year, Wolves have been able to find some rhythm.
Wanderers have played 13 games in the top-flight so far, and have won eight of those, losing the other five.
There was also the defeat to Norwich City in the FA Cup, which was disappointing.

It’s all very promising at the moment, and now, a very interesting statistic has emerged about Wolves.
In 2022, Wolves are actually the third-highest goalscorers in the Premier League. Only Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have scored more than Bruno Lage’s side.
Spurs have scored 30, Liverpool have hit 27 and Wolves have 20. Then, it’s the two Manchester clubs on 19 each.
That’s fascinating, given ‘the lack of a cutting edge’ has often been used as a stick to beat Wolves and Lage with by rival fans and pundits.
Quietly, Wolves have actually been finding the net much more regularly compared to the first half of the campaign.
Of the 13 Premier League games in 2022 so far, Wolves have only failed to score in three of them.
