Wolves are taking on Sunderland in what is a huge game in the Premier League on Saturday.
Wolves are still winless in the competition so far, and have picked up just two points from their seven games.
But the last few performances have been encouraging, with Vitor Pereira switching to a back four to start with.
This has brought about some newfound defensive solidity, but Wolves are still struggling in the final third, with neither Jorgen Strand Larsen nor Tolu Arokodare fully fit at the moment.
The game with Sunderland is a big opportunity. Pereira believes his Wolves players are looking more confident of late, and really know what he’s asking of them.
But it will be a big test. The Black Cats have made a positive start to the new season, picking up 11 points so far and climbing up to ninth in the table.
Wolves will look to win the game though, and Sunderland may be without a couple of key players.
Sunderland rocked by two injury worries ahead of Wolves clash
As much as this is an opportunity for Wolves, Sunderland will also see this game as a chance to get three points.
With Wolves being bottom and the game being at the Stadium of Light, there will be an expectation on Sunderland to pick up at least a draw.
But Sunderland may have to try and get a result without a couple of key players, after they got injured during the international break.
As per the Sunderland Echo, Regis Le Bris could be without Noah Sadiki and Omar Alderete on Saturday.
Sadiki withdrew from the DR Congo squad on Monday after he sustained an ankle sprain before his country’s World Cup qualifier against Sudan.
And last night, defender Alderete was forced off in the late stages of Paraguay’s 2-0 win over South Korea, with local reports stating he had muscle discomfort.
Radio Nanduti report that he is suffering ‘posterior muscle overload in his thigh’.
To lose Alderete would be a huge blow for Sunderland, with the 28-year-old having been one of the standout new signings of the season so far.

Wolves must capitalise if Sadiki and Alderete cannot play
So Sunderland are sweating on the fitness of two key players ahead of Saturday’s game.
If neither can play, then Wolves’ chances of getting something from the game increase, as both have shown themselves to be great players so far.
Indeed, both rank in the top 10 in terms of average match ratings in the Sunderland squad so far this season (via WhoScored).
As well as Sunderland are doing right now, Wolves really need to pick up that first win of the season, and hopefully Pereira can finally claim it after coming so close in the last few weeks.
