Sunderland ans have been reacting to defender Dion Sandersonβs deadline day loan move from Wolves.
The 20-year-old will spend the 2020/21 season at the Stadium of Light and hope to make a big impression in League One.
Sanderson has made just one first-team appearance for Wolves, which came last season against Aston Villa in the EFL Cup.
The hope at Molineux is that the versatile youngster will be afforded regular minutes at the Black Cats, who are desperate to gain promotion back to the Championship after narrowly missing out on the play-offs last season.
Speaking about his deadline day move, an exciting Sanderson said (Sunderland Echo): βItβs a massive club and I hope I can contribute to a successful campaign. I enjoyed my first-team experience with Cardiff City last season, and I believe this is the best opportunity for me to build on that.
