Wolves welcomed a host of talent to Molineux in the summer, including winger Carlos Forbs.
Forbs was the last player to arrive on deadline day, joining Andre and Sam Johnstone as the Old Gold’s late captures.
The former Manchester City academy jewel signed on an initial loan from Ajax, which will be made permanent if certain clauses are met.
It’s been a slow start to life in the Midlands for the 20-year-old, who will be hoping to continue where he left off after the international break.

Carlos Forbs opens up about life at Wolves
Forbs earned his first start for Wolves in the Premier League last time out against Brentford, in a match that ended 5-3 to the hosts.
Despite the terrible result, it was an encouraging display from the vibrant winger, who is showing signs that he will be influential in O’Neil’s side once he properly gets his bearings.
The 20-year-old recently opened up about his start to life at Wolves when speaking to Express and Star, sharing how the squad have treated him since his arrival at Compton.
“Everyone is family and they have welcomed me very nicely. I get along with everyone, it wasn’t a problem to fit in,” Forbs said.
The Ajax loanee then went on to single out one member of the team who has helped him ‘the most’, his answer won’t come as a surprise to many.
“The captain Mario has helped me the most, but everyone has been top, they’ve told me about their journeys and it’s nice to know your team-mates.”
Forbs praised the impact that Mario Lemina has had on his journey at Wolves so far, which is one of the reasons why O’Neil opted to make him club captain in the summer.
More to come from Forbs
It’s been a trialling start to life at Molineux for all of Wolves’ summer signings, experiencing something of a baptism of fire in the Premier League.
O’Neil’s side have struggled to impose themselves however, the talent in the squad at present suggests that there’s a lot more to come.
Sitting bottom of the table after seven games played is not the start to life at Wolves that Forbs would have wanted although, there’s a good chance that the Portugal U21 international might have earned his ticket to further game time.
O’Neil has to change something, which he did against Brentford by starting the summer signing, with the ex-Man City starlet being one of very few positives.
The future holds a lot of promise for the winger, who can kick on at Molineux with the support he has around him in the squad.
