Wolves legend Steve Bull insists that one goal comes to mind when looking back on his incredible Old Gold career.
Bull is no doubt one of the biggest Wolves legends. After a career at the Old Gold that spanned from 1986-1999, the striker somehow managed to net a staggering 306 goals, a club record.
Thanks to his prolific nature, Bull managed to lift Wolves out of the fourth tier and place them into the second tier where they were always whiskers away from promotion.
This is despite the fact Bull almost never became a professional footballer due to an issue with his knee.
However, the striker overcame these issues and went on to become one of the most clinical strikers the Molineux faithful had ever seen.
After netting so many goals for Wolves, Bull has found it hard to pick a favourite, however, one stands out in his mind.
Steve Bull believes his final Wolves goal against Bury ‘stands out the most’

After struggling with injuries, Bull was reaching the end of his career when Wolves faced Bury in 1998.
Despite this, he was still bagging goals and had five during the campaign going into the match against Neil Warnock’s side.
With the scoreline locked at 0-0, Bull unsurprisingly broke the deadlock as he powered a diving header into the net just after the hour mark to secure the 1-0 win.
The goal proved to be the striker’s last for the Old Gold before he retired at the end of the season.
Looking back on the strike, Bull told Soccer AM in 2008 that if he knew that it would be his final goal for Wolves, he would have ‘ran around ASDA’s carpark’.
“I don’t have a favourite [goal] really,” he said. “But I think the one that sticks out in my mind was my last one against Bury.
“I just wish I had known that it was going to be my last one because you wouldn’t have seen me, I would have legged it into the car park or something!
“It actually came off my ear, but if I knew that was going to be my last one I would have pulled my shirt up and been running around ASDA car park! I would have been all over the place!”

Steve Bull should be an inspiration to any Wolves striker

Bull is the epitome of what any Wolves striker should strive to be.
The attacker was always there when the club needed to be and he scored multiple vital goals that will live long in the memories of the Molineux faithful.
On top of this, his loyalty to the club was unmatched. Bull famously turned down plenty of opportunities to play in the top-flight to stay at Wolves and cement his legacy as a legend.
Any fan who was able to witness Bull play for the Old Gold knows just how lucky they are.
