Steve Bull has been remaining optimistic about Wolves’ chances of survival this season, and he has now asked for one thing to see from Rob Edwards’ side from now until the final game.
The Old Gold are well and truly heading towards relegation. They sit on just two points, and after 14 games, they are 12 points off safety.
Data suggests Wolves should be higher in the table, but reality, rather than expectation, is more important right now.
The summer transfer window has proved catastrophic, and now relegation looks likelier this season than it has over the previous two.
And Steve Bull wants to see just one thing from the Old Gold now.
Was Vitor Pereira at fault or is this Wolves squad just not good enough?😬
Steve Bull names the one thing he wants to see from Wolves

Optimism is fleeting at Molineux, and even Steve Bull is starting to lean the other way.
The legendary forward has been holding out hope, but defeat to Nottingham Forest looks to have been the final straw for him.
Bull has now said things are looking ‘inevitable’ in the relegation battle, but he has still made one request of Rob Edwards despite that outlook.
The former Molineux icon said (via Express and Star), “What is killing us at the moment is when we go 1-0 down. The heads go down, the confidence goes, and there are no leaders on the pitch. We just have to find something from somewhere.
“Before you even consider the position in the table, it is firstly about restoring some pride. All we can do as fans is just get behind Rob and the team. If we are going to go down, then we need to go down fighting.
“The players need to look at the badge and realise what they are playing for.”

Does this Sky interview give you more confidence Rob Edwards can improve Wolves? 🤔
There is nobody better to ask about playing for the badge than Steve Bull. The striker gave his all every time he stepped out onto the pitch.
While Wolves have been poor in a lot of games, the request for the players to put on a performance to be proud of is the bare minimum.
And Bull may get that request answered, as the half-time team talk by Rob Edwards showed he wants to increase standards.
Final-third improvement must be the focus for Rob Edwards
While the performance against Nottingham Forest was not great, the overall impact Edwards has had can only be described as positive.
There have been clear improvements in Wolves defensively, and the next move for the head coach is to focus on the offensive side of things.
Steve Bull will know best on how goals can change games, and at the moment, the Wanderers do not have a player who can pop up and influence matches in that way.
Jorgen Strand Larsen has been off it this season, and Alan Shearer has delivered a brutal claim about the Norwegian following interest from Newcastle in the summer.
If Edwards can get his side firing in the final third, then maybe there can be something prideful to take from this campaign.
