With the January window open, Wolves have the chance to add some quality and sell some players for the right price, and legend of the club Steve Bull has laid out what must be done.
Rob Edwards has confirmed that Wolves need to sell to buy, which is a complete 180 from what he was saying earlier in his tenure.
Fans were told the Old Gold would not need to sell any of their stars to improve the squad options this winter.
With the club facing relegation, there is the threat that sides interested in taking some of Wolves’ players try to sign them on the cheap.
However, comments praising Matt Jackson make that reality seem implausible.

Steve Bull tells Fosun what must be done in January
There is plenty of work to be done at Wolves this January, including both incomings and outgoings.
Interest from multiple Premier League clubs in Jorgen Strand Larsen seems to make him a likely man to exit Molineux over the next few weeks.
Everton are the latest to want the Norwegian striker, who has been misfiring all season.
However, when it comes to bringing players in, Steve Bull would like to see four or five new signings, but he is aware that may be unrealistic.
Who would be your DREAM January signing for Wolves?
Make it realistic!
Bull said (via Express and Star), “In an ideal world you would go out and bring in four or five players who could make a big difference to the team, but our position in the table makes that tough.
“The fact is some players simply won’t want to join a club which looks like it is going to be playing in the Championship next season. That doesn’t mean there aren’t players out there, and if there are deals to be done, they need to be done.
“In terms of outgoings, Wolves need to try and move on any players who no longer want to be there. That’s not to say they should be sold on the cheap, but you only want people on board who are committed to the cause.”
The Old Gold certainly have some top stars that could bring in some funds, and as Steve Bull says, those who are not fully on board must be sold.
Who could leave Wolves?

While Jorgen Strand Larsen may be among those names sold, there are other players that could leave over the next few weeks.
Joao Gomes has interest from Manchester United, and Crystal Palace have also been monitoring the Brazilian.
Additionally, Marshall Munetsi has been linked with a move back to Ligue 1, as three clubs have made their interest known.
Emmanuel Agbadou is at AFCON, but upon his return he may not stick around for long. Clubs in Turkey have been strongly linked with the Ivorian, who joined Wolves in the last January window.
Finally, Wolves are open to selling both Jose Sa and Hwang Hee-chan, and the two senior players could be moved on to bring in younger and more promising talent.
It will be a busy month for the club.
