Wolves legend Steve Bull remains upbeat about the club’s prospects, but admits they must start picking up results quickly to ease growing fears of another relegation battle.
The Old Gold fell to a damaging defeat against Leeds United last weekend, a result that has piled more pressure on Vitor Pereira and his players.
Tottenham are up next before they host Brighton at Molineux, followed by consecutive matches against Burnley and Sunderland, meaning Wolves face a crucial run of fixtures against sides around them in the table.

Spurs duo Randal Kolo Muani and Dominic Solanke have been ruled out of the Wolves clash, while Pereira travels to North London with a fully fit squad.
Within their opening 10 games, the Old Gold will have already faced all three newly promoted clubs, but they must start collecting points if they are to climb out of the bottom three.
Supporters know that any positive result in North London could be a turning point in Wolves’ season.
Steve Bull says Wolves need to prove they are a good side against Tottenham
Traditionally, Wolves have often raised their game against the division’s stronger sides, but those days now feel a long way off.
Rather than approaching these fixtures with the belief they can go toe-to-toe with some of the league’s best, the hope is now to simply take something to help salvage their season.
Pereira has blamed Wolves’ poor start on slow recruitment, but there is now a clear expectation on him to turn the club’s fortunes around.
Bull believes that even a point against Tottenham would be invaluable in restoring confidence and giving Wolves the platform to build on.
In his Express & Star column, he said: ” A point on the board would do us the world of good, prove we can be a good side and we will only get better.
“There is only so long you can go without getting any points. We’re three points off 19th and four points from getting out of the relegation zone – and I would be worried if that was nine or 12 points.
“It’s still early in the season and a couple of wins moves us out of trouble. Those wins will gradually come and hopefully it’s in time before the gap is too big.”
Vitor Pereira needs to copy what Bournemouth did against Tottenham
Pereira has been urged to take inspiration from Bournemouth, who stunned Spurs with a clever tactical setup earlier this season.
The Cherries conceded possession but restricted Spurs to areas where they could not do damage, while launching frequent and purposeful counter-attacks.
This approach forced Spurs deeper, giving Bournemouth more control and eventually leading to a shock 1-0 victory.
Wolves have the quality to execute a similar plan, particularly with the pace and movement of Jorgen Strand Larsen, Marshall Munetis, and Jhon Arias.
Pereira has been urged to give Arias another start, following his display against Everton, with fans believing he has the perfect skillset for this game plan.
If they can repeatedly threaten in behind and make their transitions count, Wolves have a genuine chance of returning from North London with points on the board.
