Wolves have confirmed that academy midfielder Taylor Perry has signed a new contract.
Perry has committed his future for the next two years, with the option of an extra one on top.
Technical director Scott Sellars said that following the announcement, Perry will start pre-season training with the first team.
“He’s now got an opportunity to train with the first-team – we’ll let the manager see him and then we’ll make a decision on his next step,” Sellars said.

The news went down well with some Wolves fans on Twitter, happy to see one of their own extend his deal.
It’ll be interesting to see how Perry does in pre-season. He’ll get his chance and a clean slate under Bruno Lage.
Some strong performances in pre-season may convince Lage to keep him around or earn him a decent loan move to get more regular gametime.
That’s all to come but here’s how the contract announcement went down with some Old Gold fans on Twitter:
