Last night was one to forget for Wolves.

The pack were comfortably beaten 4-0 by champions Liverpool in the Premier League at Anfield, with defensive slip-ups allowing the Reds a much easier night than they should have had.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were missing key players and might have been there for the taking.

Wolves did start positively, but there was no real belief or desire to mount a comeback once the hosts had gone a couple of goals up.

It was a really disappointing showing on Merseyside, with the manager struggling for an explanation after the game.

Perhaps in hindsight, going with the new four-at-the-back system against Liverpool at Anfield was overly bold.

 

There is certainly some work to be done for Nuno this week, with Aston Villa next up on Saturday.

And some supporters have made the case for young Vitinha to get his first start at Molineux.

The 20-year-old got on for an 11-minute cameo last night and was bright, but the game was obviously over and done with and there wasn’t much time for him to truly make an impact.

He’s had very few chances so far since joining on loan from FC Porto, and some fans are keen for him to come in now and freshen things up a bit:
