Some Wolves fans have been discussing the start Rui Patricio has had to the 2020/21 season.
The 32-year-old has been ever-present for Nuno Espirito Santo in the league this term.
At one stage, no goalkeeper had kept more clean sheets that him, but things have become tricky in recent weeks.
The Portugal international is now without a shutout since the game against Crystal Palace back in October.
Of course, the defence plays a big part in helping to keep clean sheets, but the stopper will likely be very frustrated with how things have been going.
Looking at social media, some fans feel that Patricio – who cost the club a reported £16 million (BBC Sport) – could be doing better, having shown a higher level in previous seasons.
There have been games where he’s looked fairly solid, games where he hasn’t had too much to do, but he has conceded some soft goals, like the free-kick against Newcastle and the command of his area has been lacking a little.
According to Wyscout data, only Brighton’s Mat Ryan has a lower save percentage than Patricio of ‘keepers to have played at least 500 minutes in the competition so far.
Although he has obviously proven himself as one of the division’s top ‘keepers, overall in 2020/21 the ex-Sporting CP star just hasn’t quite been at his consistent best so far.
Here’s what some fans have been saying on social media:

5/10 too many mistakes for someone of his obvious class

5, meh. Making uncharacteristic mistakes.

5/10 Glued to his line, not coming out for crosses or dominating his box. Been wrong footed a few times & not saved some shots he would of last season. Has a tendency to be in the wrong position or caught off guard for free kicks. Not the Mr Dependable we know & love.

7. A few mistakes this season and his ability to deal with crosses does worry me, saying that I still wouldn’t swap him for any other prem keeper

6, had a few too many positioning errors so far
