Wolverhampton Wanderers have a number of decisions to make this summer.

In the past two transfer windows, the club have made at least one loan signing, and there are currently three on the books at Molineux.

Willian Jose was the latest addition from Real Sociedad, while Vitinha and Rayan Ait-Nouri joined in 2020 from FC Porto and Angers respectively.

Frenchman Ait-Nouri made a real impression earlier in the season.

The left-sided star actually scored just 18 minutes into his debut against Crystal Palace back in October, and fans were left very excited about what he could potentially bring to the table.

But Ait-Nouri hasn’t quite been able to convince the masses in the months after, and now opportunities have started to dry up following the return of Jonny Castro Otto, who is a proven performer at Premier League level.

Ait-Nouri is now in a bit of an awkward position.

The club will take a decision on whether to sign him permanently for £20 million – although a report from the Express & Star today claims the club could potentially land him and the others for less by renegotiating with their parent clubs.

A conversation is now taking place about which of the three, if any, should be snapped up by Fosun.

It seems that the jury is still out on Ait-Nouri, with some feeling he has undoubted potential and others believing he isn’t much different to Ruben Vinagre:
