‘So dangerous’: Steve Bull thinks Wolves have an ‘unbelievable’ player on their hands right now

Steve Bull has showered praise on Pedro Neto for the way he has started the new season for Wolves.

Wolves have taken just four points from a possible 18 to start the 2023/24 campaign

It has been a really tough start, as most fans expected.

But while Wolves have struggled as a collective to get points on the board, Neto has been a shining light.

On Saturday against Luton, with Wolves down to 10 men, the 23-year-old scored an outstanding goal to give Wolves hope of winning the game.

It was a goal of high quality and would have been a fine winner, had it not been for a controversial penalty award against Joao Gomes.

Neto has come in for some nice words from Bull, who is very enthused by what he’s seen from the Portuguese of late…

Bull actually penned his latest column before Neto’s latest performance against Luton.

But everything he’s said is still very much applicable.

Simply put, he has loved watching the exhilarating Neto in action so far this season.

He said (Express & Star): “He has been unbelievable so far this season, he looks determined and must have put in an incredible amount of graft during pre-season to come back in this shape after his injury issues.

“Neto is playing some brilliant attacking football and looks so dangerous.

“He’s doing his job, we just need everyone else to do their jobs now!”

Wolves need Pedro Neto to continue his form, and other must step up

It is so good to see Neto back to his best.

He’s had rotten luck with injuries in the last two years, and it’s been tough for him trying to rediscover his mojo.

But he appears to have found it now, and what a player he looks.

Wolves need him to keep his levels high for as long as possible.

But it’s also now on others to step up to the plate.

The likes of Matheus Cunha, Pablo Sarabia and Fabio Silva all need to be offering more in terms of goal contributions.
