Sky Sports pundit Tim Sherwood has lavished praise on Wolves defender Nelson Semedo.
Semedo showed great quality and speed to play in Raul Jimenez to set up Hwang Hee-Chan’s goal against Leeds last weekend.
Speaking on Sky Sports Soccer Saturday at 12.50pm, Sherwood was asked about Semedo by host Jeff Stelling.
Stelling pointed out that Semedo has played 42 of Wolves’ 45 Premier League games since he arrived from Barcelona.

“I think he’s a good player,” said Sherwood of Semedo. “Obviously he’s got great pedigree.
“He likes to bomb forward and he’s a fantastic athlete. He was a huge part (of the goal at Leeds on Saturday).
“He shows the composure, it’s alright using your athleticism but it’s being able to find the pass at the end of it and he can do that.
“It can take players a bit of time. I think Semedo is one of those, it took him some time but their recruitment is on the right lines there.”

Obviously, Semedo’s afternoon turned slightly sour when he gave away the penalty which allowed Wolves to equalise.
But that should not take much away from his performance on the day, or his role in the goal.
According to CLUB, the 27-year-old currently has the highest success rate in Europe for stopping attempted dribbles (82%).
That saw him earn some praise from some fans on Twitter and it is clear Sherwood is a fan too.
