Wolves are in a very precarious position right now, after failing to win any of their first 10 Premier League games.
Wanderers sit rock bottom of the Premier League table, and look to be heading for a relegation battle this season.
Wolves had the hardest start of any club in the division with their fixtures. But the team have been in winning positions and not seen games out.
Fans are growing increasingly frustrated, and many would now like to see a managerial change.
Fosun backed Gary O’Neil after the sorry defeat to Brentford, but his credit in the bank is now running out for many.
But one man who feels the Wolves manager deserves a bit more time is Simon Jordan, who’s been enthused by what he’s seen at times this season.
Simon Jordan defends Gary O’Neil after Wolves’ terrible run of results

Wolves have Southampton up next in the Premier League and anything but a win will do.
It’s still very early in the season, but there could be big psychological damage if Wolves don’t beat the Saints at home.
Many fans are calling for O’Neil to be sacked after a run of one win in the last 20 Premier League games, and the winless start to 2024/25.
But pundit Simon Jordan feels Wolves have been unlucky, as he defended O’Neil yesterday.
He said on talkSPORT: “I’ve seen them recently against Brighton and saw them on Saturday against Palace. I think they’ve got some good players there. The players are clearly playing for the manager
“I think the boy Cunha is a good player. Lemina, when he came on, is a good player. There’s bags of energy about that side. I think they were unlucky not to get a result against Palace, I thought they were the better side.
“I think they’ve been a little bit unlucky this season, they’re better than the points total they’ve got, albeit I think they’ve been poor in a few games.
“I look at Wolverhampton Wanderers and I don’t look at them thinking, for the performances I’ve seen, that you’ve got a group of players who aren’t playing for a manager, which is the first telltale sign of a club in disarray.
“When they transition, they’re a very attacking side that gives people challenges. There’s a lot of good players in that side. I think Gary O’Neil’s done a decent job and I think he deserves a tad more tolerance.”
Some Wolves fans will strongly disagree with Jordan
There are still people out there who feel O’Neil has the potential to turn things around at Wolves.
But there are also a great many fans wanting him gone now after such a poor run of results.

One big reason many want him out is that they say Wolves are playing without an identity right now. That O’Neil is changing things hoping he will stumble on a winning formula.
Simon Jordan is right to say the players are still playing for O’Neil. That has never really been in any doubt. However, this should be irrelevant to Fosun.
Wolves have indeed been slightly unlucky at times this season. But many will just not accept that given the current run the club is on.
