Rob Edwards’ move to Wolves split many in the football world, with some believing it was poor form for him to jump ship mid-season.
One such man was Simon Jordan, who argued Edwards had no right to leave Boro.
Jordan was far from impressed that the former Wolves man left a rising Middlesbrough side to join a struggling Premier League team.
He felt Edwards should have distanced himself from talks and turned down the move out of respect for the Championship side.
The former Crystal Palace owner was not alone in his thoughts, as Troy Deeney shared a similar opinion on Edwards.
The situation has left Middlesbrough in need of another manager, and on Monday it was reported that they were set to hire Kim Hellberg, who looked bound for Swansea.
However, Simon Jordan has now doubled down on his angst with the new Wolves head coach in a new rant when asked about why Middlesbrough hijacking Swansea City’s deal for a new manager is any different from Rob Edwards jumping ship.

Simon Jordan blasts Rob Edwards once again for joining Wolves
To nobody’s surprise, Simon Jordan has piled more criticism onto Rob Edwards for becoming Wolves’ new head coach.
Before an announcement was made, Jordan warned Edwards about taking the job; alas, he is now in charge at Molineux.
After news on Middlesbrough’s search for a new manager emerged, Edwards was back on the agenda for talkSPORT, and while journalist Alex Crook sympathised with the former Old Gold player, Jordan took the opposite route.
Speaking on the show, Crook said he feels Rob Edwards ‘does not deserve to be vilified’, pointing out the irony in the situation with Boro hijacking Swansea’s head coach target.
Jordan disagreed, saying, “It has nothing to do with Wolves. Wolves are well within their gift to have Rob Edwards as manager. The person at fault for the morality of the situation is Rob Edwards.”
He later went on to say, “I do [think he should be vilified], and I don’t do that from the point of view of being a patron saint of football club managers or football club owners.
“I have been a football club owner, so I know what that looks like and all the ramifications.
“The millions of pounds of compensation [Middlesbrough] might have got will be worth bugger all when it comes to taking your backroom staff, dismantling your season, disrupting the playing squad around you, and creating a whole raft of costs that far supersede the paltry amount of compensation you would have got for this aggravation.”
Whether or not you believe Rob Edwards has made the right decision, the rant certainly feels harsh.
It is even more brutal when you consider the reasons behind Edwards wanting to join Wolves over Middlesbrough.

Rob Edwards’ criticism is far too overblown
Based on the public opinions over the last week, you would think that Rob Edwards was the first ever manager to make a move from one club to another midway through a season.
Edwards made the move because it was his dream job. He made the move because it brought him closer to his family.
When Wolves came calling, the decision was clear for Rob Edwards
It is an easy decision to comprehend, and people in the football world, such as Jacqui Oatley, understand the reasoning, and Simon Jordan needs to understand it too.
Edwards will not take any notice of the war of words going on around him, and the quickest way to silence those outside voices will be with a big win against Crystal Palace.
Surprisingly, Gabby Agbonlahor believes Wolves can get the job done.
