Even by looking at the Wolves player’s faces, you can see a discernible change in mood in the last couple of weeks.
Naturally, when you don’t lose, the mood is bound to be higher. But even in games, Wolves look more positive. Hungrier.
Wolves are trying to correct course after a woeful start has left them with a hill to climb in the Premier League.

Would-be hero of last weekend, Santiago Bueno, has spoken about the change he has noticed in himself and his teammates. It bodes well for the months ahead.
Santiago Bueno explains the mentality shift in the Wolves dressing room
Bueno was the man to talk to after the heartbreaking 1-1 draw away to Spurs.
His goal gave Wolves the lead, and they came painstakingly close to nabbing all three points, having been the better team over 90 minutes.
Despite scoring his first goal for the club, Bueno was obviously disappointed at the loss, saying: “There’s a bit of a bitter taste because of the last-minute equaliser, but at least we got a point.”
But he recognises that Wolves are moving in the right direction. That’s a win and a draw in the last two, something to build on, for sure.

As for the reason behind the turnaround in form, the Spaniard explains: “There was a change in attitude, a bit of talking among ourselves as well, taking responsibility for the moment we were going through.
“I think everyone showed their pride and responsibility, and we gave a better image of the team. Last week’s cup win also helped build confidence, and to start earning points, which is the most important thing.”
Wolves will look to build on the performance this weekend at home to Brighton.
Resilience is needed from Wolves players and fans alike
You have to admire the mental toughness these players are showing, having to bounce back from loss after loss.

They are showing that they want to succeed, and judging by Bueno’s words, it’s something they are taking accountability for.
But Wolves fans need to show the same resilience. The reality is, the next loss isn’t far away. This is the most difficult league in the world, and every fixture poses a unique challenge.
One loss shouldn’t undo the positive feeling that has been building in recent weeks.
Wolves look much better than they did in August, and Pereira is finally getting to grips with his much-changed squad. Hopefully, the form can continue and Wolves can return to a competitive place.
