Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to be without Ruben Neves for this Saturday’s match with Sheffield United.
The club say the midfielder has tested positive for Covid-19, and he will now have to observe a 10-day isolation period.

It will be only the second game this season where Neves hasn’t featured – the first being the Premier League game against Crystal Palace back in January.
The Neves news is not the only blow today, with the club also stating Pedro Neto is out for the rest of 2020/21 after suffering a ‘severe’ knee injury.
Neves has arguably been Wolves’ best midfield player this season and perhaps the second-best player in the whole team behind Neto.

His absence against Sheffield United will be a blow, but it potentially presents a chance for someone like Vitinha or Morgan Gibbs-White to come in.
The bad luck just won’t let up
At this point, Wolves fans are probably desperate for the 2020/21 season to end.

It’s just been a struggle from start to finish, with the likes of Raul Jimenez, Jonny, Daniel Podence, Fernando Marcal and Willy Boly all being unavailable at different points for various reasons.
Hopefully Neves isn’t affected too much and can come back to finish strongly what’s been a good season from him.
