Julen Lopetegui’s side have gone nine points clear of the relegation zone with their latest result, and many fans are now allowing themselves think about next season in the Premier League again.

With 37 points on the board and just five games remaining, safety is all but assured.

Part of the reason Wolves have been able to pull clear of danger is being really strong at home.

In 2023 so far, Wolves have won six of their eight Premier League games at Molineux.

Impressively, all six of those victories have been to nil.

Molineux is starting to become a fortress again, and after last night’s win, Neves revealed Premier League players have brought up the atmosphere to him.

He said (via Wolves official): “I speak a lot with other players from other teams, and they say it’s really hard to come here and play because the atmosphere is, for me, one of the best in the Premier League. I’ve always said that, since I came here.

“It’s really hard to come and play at Molineux, we know that and we need to use that and enjoy that on the pitch – that’s what we wanted to do. Three wins at home from the last three games, so really good for us, really important for the league.”

Wolves’ home form has been excellent under Julen Lopetegui, as Ruben Neves makes Molineux claim

It is brilliant that Molineux is becoming a real fortress again.

The results there in 2023 under Lopetegui have been mostly excellent and it’s very encouraging.

Neves’ remarks are interesting. Clearly, there is a bit of reputation forming about Molineux in the minds of other players.

Hopefully solid home form will become a staple thing of the Lopetegui reign. If Wolves can just improve on their travels, then that will really allow this team to start pushing on.
