Three defeats on the bounce in the Premier League has done nothing to quell concerns about Wolves’ survival chances this season.
The Old Gold have started the season in terrible fashion, and have yet to pick up any points in the league.

There were few great displays from Wolves players against Everton, as they slumped to a 3-2 defeat.
However, Rodrigo Gomes was one player who could come out with his head held high. The Portuguese scored Wolves’ second goal after coming off the bench, and his work rate was admirable.
Rodrigo Gomes still confident Wolves can avoid Premier League relegation

Despite not picking up a single point in the Premier League, Rodrigo Gomes is still confident about Wolves’ survival chances.
Speaking out after the game, the 22-year-old spoke about the players in the squad, and insisted there is a lot of quality to avoid the drop.
He told the Wolves’ official website, ‘We know our quality, we know that we have the capacity to win games, to fight to stay in the Premier League, and we know we have that.’
After the defeat to Everton, Vitor Pereira was blunt about the mistakes Wolves made, and Gomes is well aware that also needs to change.
He said ‘We also need to correct some mistakes that we did, and I think if we do that, we increase our level and we are going to start winning games.’
Over the next week there is an international break, and for those who have not been called up, it will be the perfect opportunity to improve on the issues the Old Gold have had.
Coming from the break and securing points as soon as possible will be the priority for Vitor Pereira.
However, that task may prove tough.

Up first, they have to travel to St. James Park and it is a ground that can be hostile on its worst days. However, after the Jorgen Strand Larsen transfer saga, the atmosphere could be more fiery than usual.
Wolves then host Leeds United at Molineux in what is likely a battle between two relegation candidates.
It is vital that Vitor Pereira collects all three points in this fixture to prevent falling behind the bottom of the pack.
Finally, they travel to London to face Tottenham, who despite losing to Bournemouth on Saturday, have started the season quite well.
There is a chance Wolves end September with only one point or fewer.
